SLIPSTREAM and the X FACTOR!....Simon Cowell cruises the Caribbean on the CMN Yachts newly launched 'Slipstream', reports the Daily Mirror on Thursday 24 December 2009. 'Slipstream' recently took three prestigeous awards as the 'best of the best' superyacht launched in 2009. CMN Yachts and 'Slipstream' were promoted (along with sister ship 'Cloud 9') by my Agency and is chartered through Burgess.

The 'Mirror states 'trust Simon Cowell to come up with a super cool way of delivering his Christmas pressies'...'just think of how many turkey dinners he could get for (the reported ed.)£625,000-a-week charter fee'. The 'Mirror also reports that Simon Cowell will be joinedby his 'billioinaire mate, Top Shop boss Sir Philip Green'.

Obviously Simon is a discerning charterer in taking this stylish, award winning yacht around the Islands with some of his 'chums'. Good publicity for all of us who have been busy promoting this excellent superyacht.

Owens sponsor the RED ARROWS at the 2009 Monaco Yacht Show....what a blast!


As part of the 40th anniversary year, Owen Marine Marketing is a sponsor for the RED ARROWS display at the 2009 Monaco Yacht Show. After the success of the display at the last show Superyacht UK and key group of members are repeating the spectacular event for 2009.

It was 1969 and Owen founder Roy (Owen) Roberts had just finished a three year career in a R&B/blues band (see the website www.meddyevils.com ). Taking up the story Roy comments ''We were signed by no other than Tony Hatch and made two singles with PYE records and toured with big names of the period and even jammed one night with The Who..Peter Green taught me blues guitar on one trip!.
