case history: Hill Robinson corporate video
With a long history in producing some of the finest videos in the yachting industry, many for Royal Huisman, including a film for German TV and KLM and several other blue chip shipyards and individual superyachts, Owen Superyacht Marketing were commissioned to produce a series of videos for market leader, Hill Robinson.
The programme requirement was split into several sectors, a central corporate video and various iterations for office settings, boat shows, client presentations and other communications channels. The core for this programme was shooting footage in Monaco and Antibes of directors, managers and staff in their office and marina environments. The Owen four-person video team consisted of Roy Roberts (direction/still photography and script), Andy Smith (content management, art direction, planning and detailing), a cameraman, shooting on 4K medium and a sound engineer capturing broadcast standard sound. Some 90 minutes of interviews were recorded over a two day shoot supplemented by location/environment material to form the core for many versions of videos.
To complete the overall bank of visual material, Owens contacted a wide sweep of Hill Robinson customers and captains of managed yachts in the Hill Robinson fleet to obtain high resolution ‘footage’ of yachts, lifestyle and operations. The hard work was ready to begin in the post production phase in the Owen studios. This painstaking work over several weeks resulted in a series of draft videos for client approval resulting in the version you can see here.
This module is configured in such a way that more/updated material can easily be added in the future. Versions from this were produced as silent captioned use on outside-office screens and showreels at yachting and boat shows, meetings and events.
